E3MaS
The goals of E3MaS are to improve the quality of incoming high school students through Summer Enrichment Program (SEP), developing high school Mathematics and Science Teachers through hands on activities workshop, improving the quality of undergraduate students through scholarships, learning center support, research mentoring, placement in summer internships, and GRE preparation, enhancing curriculum through infusion of algebra to science learning, instituting Computer Aided Learning (CAL) in Mathematics and Science courses, and developing an environmental awareness elective for all majors, implementing aggressive faculty development through peer mentoring, seed grant award for research development and sponsorship to an Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) consortium workshops at Brookhaven National Lab.

SEP (Summer Enrichment Program)
The goal of the Summer Enrichment Program is to train and equip high school students with the necessary tools to succeed in high school and be better prepared for college. The summer enrichment program is designed to serve 40 students who have completed 10th and 11th grades. Selection priority is given to those participants showing greatest potential for achievement in science, mathematics and computer technology.

The main goal of GEMS is to increase the interest of elementary students in Mathematics and Science. Towards this end GEMS provides students with hands-on, inquiry based instructions in Mathematics and Science.

SET Program (Science Enrichment for Teachers)
SET aims to increase high school teachers’ participation in hands-on activities towards helping their students compete in science fairs, increase the use of technology in teaching in all STEM disciplines, and enhance the quality of high school teachers in developing STEM curriculum.
SURE Program (Summer Undergraduate Research Experience)
SURE is designed to enhance the quality of undergraduate research experiences. Students are selected from a pool of undergraduate applicants. Selected students are expected to complete an independent research under the supervision of a STEM faculty during the summer. These students are also expected to present results of their research in a symposium at the end of the summer program. Further dissemination occurs through presentations at campus seminars and professional conferences.
