L.P. Jackson, appointed by President Obama to be Administrator of the EPA, visits Biology students at SUNO and looks at their environmental research.

Ms. Henry and Ms. Workeneh explain their research poster to EPA administrator Mrs. Jackson.

Ms. Henry's research investigated pathogenic microbes in the Gulf Menhaden fish. Ms. Workeneh analyzed recovery of microbial communities after radiation exposure of the gamma forest, BNL, NY.

Mr. Golding, Mrs. D. Falodun and Mrs. Johnson are presenting  their research posters to EPA Administrator Mrs. Jackson (seated).

Mr. Golding studied ecology of Louisana's mussels, Mrs. Falodun investigated gall formation as well as parasites in trees and Mrs. Johnson researched fish pathogens post-hurricane in Louisiana's Lizard fish.
